As an entrepreneur you sometimes have to learn as you go, no choice. I have read and studied and worked. That process continues and I love it. At first you wonder how you’ll survive, there is always some fear and the real possibility of failure, but time goes on and you find a way. Ten years later I am still in the process, still learning and somehow, and I am eternally grateful, my life is very similar, other than my BMW, from the 80 hour weeks with a terrible boss.

Three things I have learned, amongst the many, during this journey. (1) It does not count to “make it” if you cannot have others “make it” too, (2) When times get hard and things look bleak, something will turn up. You just have to keep your eyes and mind open. I have developed a monk like zen tranquility that I never thought possible, (3) You may not realize it, but you already have all you need to make it happen, but sometimes you have to think, not just out of the box, but out of the box that holds the box. Definitely stretches your mind.

I think this story for children portrays that beautifully! Have a Happy 4th and thanks to all who serve and who have served.
